At The Story Bean we believe every story contains as much magic as Jack’s magic beans. Our mission is to provide a place for all stories to be shared so they can grow.
Join us at the next Story Bean
The Story Bean is a community storytelling event where people come to share a personal 6-8 minute story around a common theme. Come and share a story, or come to listen, either way we’re looking forward to meeting you!
The Story Bean is held on the second Thursday of every month at Buds & Beans in downtown Albuquerque. Sign up to tell a story starting at 6:30. Tellers begin at about 6:45.

At The Story Bean we embrace and celebrate the diversity of the human experience, while we also seek to find the commonalities that unite us.
Sharing stories about our lives and experiences may feel like a small thing, but we believe it’s one of the most powerful ways to change the world, one story at a time.
We believe by providing a space for all stories to be told we can:

- Create empathy for people who experience the world differently than the majority
